![]() ![]() If you're going to do a pet friendly hotel, it needs to be treated just like a smokers hotel. They claimed to have cleaned and re-cleaned the room on 3 separate occasions and all we saw different were the towels replaced. There was dog hair all over this room (227). The worst part about this hotel and this last stay in particular is they accept pets.that's not the issue though. ![]() The toilet was loose and you had to hold the button the whole time at times for it to flush properly. The internet barely worked and could not plug into the modem. The covers in the room made my wife itch. There were foot prints and dirt on the floor. The kitchen floor was super sticky as well as the bathroom floor like no one bother to clean it. There was old crumbs of food in the bedroom, livingroom, under the dining table and in the refrigerator. The room we received had not been cleaned thoroughly. We arrived around 8:30pm after a 12 hour drive. The only reason I'm giving a 3 is because the 1st 2 stays were decent. Don't give these idiots your money!!!!!!!!!… My mother said she called Hilton and they had said nothing, they told me they needed her to check me in and never said anything about her having to staying with me, and everything online said I could stay alone. Then when my mother obviously says no and she has to work she proceeds to say she can't check us in because a fully grown adult in trade school and college needs adult supervision even though I'm an adult and can legally get drafted for war. The room has 1 bed and she asks if my 47 year old mother is going to sleep with her 18 almost 19 year old son in the same bed and room for the entire week. Then the retar- I mean front desk lady then asks if my mother is going to be staying with me. We both get to the hotel and go up to the front desk and she starts checking us in. I go to Walmart to get some stuff I’m going to need for my stay while I wait. Not to mention the manager is being hostile and gives me the "I have a small amount of power and I'm going to use it smirk" so I leave I call my mother and tell her whats going on and she agrees to come over because it’s the week before Christmas and we aren’t positive we can get another week long hotel booking. They then ask if she can check me in and I say she lives an hour and a half away so it’s not really going to be that easy. The manager and assistant manager are working the front desk and proceeded to ask me if my mother is 21 which I obviously say yes to because a 3 year old can't have a child. I show up for a training class for the week and go to check in and they say I can't because I'm 18. Indiana state law says anyone over 18 can stay at a hotel and the Hilton website says the same. I am 18 and my mother made a reservation because you must be 21 to make one. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this Home2Suites.… I think it’s the tiniest pool I’ve ever seen in a hotel. I also wouldn’t chose this hotel if you want a spacious pool and pool deck. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the bathroom showed some wear and tear…(could use new grout and paint)and the bathtub shower combo is very tiny and very slippery. ![]() Even when there was noise it was muffled due to good construction. We stayed on a very busy Saturday night with many families filling the hotel. This location: wonderfully friendly staff, excellent location off interstate and near many restaurant and shopping options. Glassware and real plates and silverware in the rooms are so much better than coffee or tea in a paper cup. Newer construction means clean and modern. This property showcases all the reasons why.
